Dr. Pat Treusch

Dr. phil. Pat Treusch is a postdoctoral fellow in the Berlin joint program “DiGiTal – Digitization: Design and Transformation” (BCP) at the Center for Interdisciplinary Women and Gender Studies and General and Historical Educational Science, TU Berlin. In her project “The Networked Self” she examines everyday objects of the Internet of Things and asks how human and machine learning processes are newly intertwined at the interfaces that are created. Most recently she headed the project “Do robots dream of knitting?” (Volkswagen Foundation), in which she implemented collaborative knitting with a robot arm in an interdisciplinary team. From this project is the book “Robotic knitting. Re-crafting Human-Robot Collaboration Through Careful Coboting“originated.
