Miriam Fahimi

Miriam Fahimi is a social scientist. As a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow in the Horizon 2020 ITN-ETN network “NoBIAS – Artificial Intelligence without Bias”, Miriam ethnographically researches how fairness in development projects of algorithms is conceived and constructed by different actors. Miriam is a research assistant at the Digital Age Research Center (D! ARC) of the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, where she is doing her PhD in Science and Technology Studies with Prof. Katharina Kinder-Kurlanda. Her research interests include algorithmic fairness, philosophy of science, science and technology studies, and feminist theory.

Miriam is a member of netzforma * – eV, STS Austria, Association for Critical Society Research and Association of Internet Researchers.
