Artificial intelligence passes test for eighth graders

Researchers at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Seattle have developed an artificial intelligence that is able to pass a test in the natural sciences. The multiple choice questions were at grade 8 level. The “Aristo” AI system answered 90 percent of the questions correctly. In a test for the 12th grade it still did well with 80 percent correct answers.
